Biography
Travis White graduated from Southern Cross University in Lismore, Australia.
Guitar Major (Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Fusion).
Travis took up the guitar at 6. He heard Joe Satriani's Surfing With The Alien at 14.
The album made a unique impression on him, most of all the ninth track, Midnight.
After that, he decided to quit training to be an Olympic Swimmer and dedicate his life to his true love, guitar. One year later, Travis was playing gigs in cover bands. His playing emulated many of the greats while coming up with a unique tone.

2019 TRAVIS WHITE TRIBE is a band led by Travis White. The project is back on the scene with some exciting new music. In fact, the group is going to release a brand new single and music video every month, to keep a steady flow of music coming, and raise more awareness.

In January 2016, he toured Australia in support of an upcoming solo release. Produced by Mack Reinhold (QUEEN, ELO, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Extreme). Recorded at Peppertone Studios, Sydney Australia. Engineered by Sean Rudd (Production, Engineer and VIBE CREATOR) Allen Issaccs (Engineer).
In 2010, Travis worked with Yuna Ito on a Promo release. He covered Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" on Sony Records. Yuna Ito, one of Japan's best-selling artists, also did a collaboration CD with Celine Dion. Later that year, Travis worked with mentor, friend, and music legend Mack Reinhold. He producer QUEEN, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Black Sabbath, Extreme, and more.
2009 found Travis working at one of Japan's top music University's. Senzoku College Of Music/ Music University. Travis was one of the principal guitar lecturers and theory teachers. (Rock' n'Pops) In 2009 he opened his guitar school. It became was very sought-after by pro guitarists and beginners alike.
2008 found Travis hooking up with long-time friend Roy Wilders. They finished what they had started with an 18 track demo in Zurich, Switzerland. Ten tracks from the demo turned into an album, promoted and toured in Japan with a limited press of 300 CDs. They also aimed to tour Europe and America. A live DVD was also produced but is yet to be released.
In 2004, Travis moved to Japan. He worked with artists from major labels, such as King Records, Sony, Polygram, EMI, and more. Highlights were guitar clinics with Mike Stern and Scott Henderson. Travis also formed the "Travis White Trio - TWT," touring throughout Japan.
